Backyard Beauty

I feel a responsibility to my backyard. I want it to be taken care of and protected.
Annie Leibovitz

A baby Bluebirds first flight out of the nesting box. He turned around and flew right back in. (he left a while later)

I took all of these pictures in my backyard. 🙂

  6. great photos. I love what you see in your backyard and I’m sure you’ll miss the bluebirds. Can I ask what lens do you used? A telephoto is next on my list.

  7. Thanks. We’ll miss the bluebirds, that’s for sure. I heard them this morning and spotted one of the babies (which looks full grown now) on the neighbors roof. That was the first time we’d seen them since they left.
My zoom lens is a Canon 100-400mm. I use it constantly; with and without a tripod.
