“When you’re finally up on the moon, looking back at the earth, all these differences and nationalistic traits are pretty well going to blend and you’re going to get a concept that maybe this is really one world and why the hell can’t we learn to live together like decent people?”
One photo might be good, but more than one might be great.

The Moon, according to dictionary.com: The earth’s natural satellite, orbiting the earth at a mean distance of 238,857 miles (384,393 km) and having a diameter of 2160 miles (3476 km).
The Moon, according to me: Awe-inspiring, Wondrous, Dazzling.
I like the moon. It’s consistent. It’s the same moon if you’re in Indiana or China. Last night was a full moon. I set up the tripod, put the big lens on and waited……
When I look in the sky and see the moon bright and clear, the first thing that comes to mind is “I need to get my camera!” I think I can honestly say I’ve never spoken the words “What a beautiful waxing moon it is tonight.” That’s not to say it isn’t a beautiful waxing moon. I just have no idea what it means. Luckily for me, the Internet is at our disposal. Thanks to Moonconnection.com, I feel more educated already.
Waning Moon — The term used to describe the period of the Moon as it moves from a Full Moon to a New Moon, decreasing in visibility with respect to an Earth-bound observer.

Crescent Moon — The famous image of the Moon frequently used in the media, consisting of only a thin crescent slice of the Moon being visible from Earth. This phase of the moon occurs just after the New Moon phase, which is also known as Dark of the Moon. There is also a Crescent Moon phase just prior to the next New Moon as well.
