Some of my Favorite Shots
Living near the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore lends itself to a variety of birds either migrating or making their home in our area. These are some of my favorite photos I’ve taken recently.
This is a Cedar Waxwing. They’re here for a very brief time. Luckily this one spent just long enough in the backyard for me to get this shot.
Thousands of Sandhill Cranes migrate over the Indiana Dunes in the spring. I spent days photographing them.
Here is another shot where timing was on my side! This robin got a worm and in one gulp had breakfast.
The Killdeer nest in the rocks in our yard every year. We’re happy that we can provide a safe place for them to have their babies.
